Chosen by Phil Knight in the 1970s to make his new brand stand out, Nike orange is instantly recognizable on store shelves. When ORE tackled the task of making a stand-out planter system for the company terrace at Nike’s campus on the Westside of Los Angeles, getting the iconic color right was top priority. We customized our FūSE System planters to perfectly match Nike shoeboxes and fit the energetic atmosphere.
Set in the impressive WE3 at Water’s Edge building in the Playa Vista neighborhood, the terrace is a company amenity and event space. Working with Nike and BrightView, we built planters to accommodate trees, flowerbeds, and special integrated features like seating, inspection ports, and even trash cans that blend in with the aesthetic. We also installed plantings around the perimeter of the building.
