Lantern House comprises two residential towers separated by the High Line elevated park. Known for lantern-shaped bay windows that maximize light, the architecture connects residents to nature and the surrounding neighborhood. ORE collaborated with Hollander Design and New York Decks to create a private terrace garden that reflects this inside-out approach to city living.
Striking, custom wood benches serve as a central design element in this peaceful urban oasis. We built a planter system with soft radius corners, varied elevations, and an overall design that allows furnishings to nest into the planters for a cohesive look. The planters feature a zinc patina from our art finishes collection, which mimics a living patina but is stable and meets the AAMA 2604 exterior standard for enhanced durability.
