Located in Chicago’s eclectic Bucktown neighborhood, this four-story residence mixes traditional and contemporary sensibilities. Working to help realize the vision of our expert collaborators, Chicago Specialty Gardens, ORE curated a selection of custom and pre-designed pieces. A highlight of the project is a self-contained water feature we fabricated and mounted to a wall along a stairway leading to a garage roof deck. Water cascades from three scuppers and into a pool of river rocks, providing an inviting entrance to a family dining and entertainment area.

Installed in two phases covering multiple terraces and the front of the house, it was important to maintain a cohesive feel throughout. Understated façade planters, accent containers, and built-in wall planters with woodwork inspired details tie together with coordinating finishes for an enduring, composed look.
